How does the Colour Therapy work

Colour Therapy is the therapeutic use of colour and light as a means of balancing and harmonising mind body and spirit. Colours are differentiated light, and research indicates that our physical and mental well-being is affected by our relationship with the colours in our environment.

For example, the depression resulting from a lack of light in wintertime (Seasonal Affective Disorder) can be corrected with the use of special daylight simulation bulbs, high blood pressure responds to the use of blue light, and the nervous system is excited by the use of red light.
Colour is used in many forms to heal and aid the sick, diseased and the distressed. Colour therapists use colour both to diagnose and to heal - often basing their work on the chakra system. By realigning the chakras, balance is restored throughout the body’s systems, reducing stress and stimulating energy flow.
